Life always has its ups and downs, and this is something that the exceptionally talented Lyzzie Is understands better than most. Indeed, as a child, she aspired to one day become a world-class gymnast, and her early career saw her training for forty hours per week and performing at the national level. However, an injury to the neck left her gymnastics career in pieces, and she had to begin searching for a new opportunity to pursue instead - which was when she began getting involved in music.
Discovering music as an outlet for her pain and stresses, it’s undeniable that this change shaped the way Lyzzie’s life would go. Music offered support during some of her lowest times, and she came to rely heavily on songwriting and performing throughout her battle with mental health; eventually, this would lead to her being scouted for her talents, and she received a scholarship at the School of Rock in Markham. From here, she went on to grow her career at every available opportunity, performing in numerous events and strengthening her skills.
During this time, Lyzzie continually looked for new opportunities to grow her skills and bolster her experience while honing her singing style to suit a solo career. And now, Lyzzie has finally discovered her path, working alongside some of the most talented individuals at the SounDrive Records Management team to create her sound. Her first ever 4-song EP has undeniably taken the music world by storm, with powerful and moving experiences in every single – and her captivating style undeniably transforms the lyrics into a chilling and awe-inspiring performance.
