Tifa Unveils Latest Hit 'Say Yes,' Crafted by Dancehall Maestro Kemar McGregor

Jamaican dancehall sensation Tifa has dropped her newest single, 'Say Yes,' a captivating masterpiece produced by the renowned Kemar McGregor, a stalwart on the Dancehall Billboard charts.

Originally hailing from Kingston, Tifa's roots trace back to the upscale Graham Heights community of Kingston 8. After her parents' separation, she found herself in the heart of the country's commercial district on Duke Street, Downtown Kingston, living with her grandmother. Following her grandmother's passing, Tifa moved in with her mother's best friend, the former Ms Jamaica World beauty queen, Joan McDonald, with her mother remaining a pillar of strength throughout her life.

Tifa's early passion for music was nurtured by her stepfather, the acclaimed music producer Garfield 'Sampalue' Phillips. In April 2011, Tifa inked an endorsement deal with NUVO, the world's first sparkling liqueur, earning her the title of Brand Diva. She later became a brand ambassador for Telecommunications giant Digicel and renewed her partnership with Bigga Sof Drink for the fourth consecutive year in 2017.

Expanding her brand and celebrity status, Tifa delved into merchandising, launching her signature headphone line in collaboration with Sound is Genius (SIG), known as the 'Tifa SIG' line.

In 2014, Tifa gained international recognition with features on Globalgrind.com, owned by American business magnate Russell Simmons, and graced the cover of the July issue of Caribbean urban publication L3 Magazine. Notably, her single 'Body Up,' produced by Stephen 'Di Genius' McGregor, was featured in an episode of the Netflix series Hemlock Grove.

Acknowledged among the Top Ten Reggae/Dancehall Greatest Lady Deejays by Largeup.com, Tifa marked a significant milestone in her musical journey by signing with the North America-based independent Island Kings Records. The collaboration yielded the hit single 'Bak it Up,' reaching the Top 20 of the Billboard Twitter Trending 140 Chart in late 2014.

Kicking off 2024 with a flourish, Tifa has already released three dynamic singles, including the assertive "Doh Real," a Celtic 222 production addressing her detractors, and the provocative dancehall ballad "Big Head Boy," produced by Bob Klean for Klean Entertainment, gaining widespread attention on social media and among disc jockeys.

The pinnacle of Tifa's recent releases is the much-anticipated 'Say Yes,' a dancehall track paying homage to Dave Kelly with a beat inspired by one of his classics. Produced by the Billboard King Kemar McGregor, the single is making waves on social media, setting the stage for more releases and international collaborations slated for 2024.
