Introducing the newest dynamic duo: the father and son musically gifted team known respectively as Timothy Burton, Sr. and Timothy Burton, Jr. Separated by life and circumstances over 30 years ago with sparse contact, these two talented men have found their way back into each other’s lives to embark on a personal and business journey. With the upcoming release of the r&b/jazz/hip-hop hybrid project titled “Hip-Hop-Jazz”, these men are focused on a bright and promising future guaranteed to take the music world by storm.
Timothy Burton, Sr. is a musical legend in his current home & business hub of Wisconsin and the entire Midwest region. The singer/ songwriter has mastered several instruments including the saxophone, guitar, drums, bass guitar, piano and he releases music in the R&B, Jazz, Gospel, Rock, Pop, Ska, Reggae & Hip Hop musical genre’s. The Chicago native has been recording music since 1976 and is currently building a new label Studio One Productions with his son Tim Burton, Jr. As a cancer survivor, this musical brilliance counts each day as a blessing, acknowledging all the minor along with the massive accomplishments he’s been granted with humility and graciousness. This realization has set the mood for the current single, “I’m So Blessed”, released August 7th, 2016.
Tim Burton, Jr. is a musical genius in his own right, and a legend in the San Diego, CA Hip Hop scene. Going by the rap alias Deciet, Tim Jr. commenced his musical career in 1997 debuting in the rap group Mastermyndz with whom he released two classic studio albums. Since the year 2000 he has independently released 10 albums and toured the world with his 1st group Mastamyndz, his 2nd group Submission, and also as a solo artist. By revolutionizing the hip hop touring and performance scene in San Diego and neighboring So Cal cities Tim Burton, Jr., aka Deceit, has built a solid reputation and respect from fellow music artists, rightfully being labeled as a local legend.
These men have decided to combine their musical talents and knowledge to create their current joint business venture. Soon after the single is presented to the world the EP project, befittingly entitled “Hip-Hop-Jazz”, will soon follow. The fusion of what some are calling Jazz-Hop or Hip-Jazz will ignite the beginning of a tour throughout the Midwest, with plans to spread across the country.
